The Tokio correspondent of the British United Press states that Mr Kurusu, the new envoy who is on his way to Washington to participate in the talks, is taking with him a personal message from the Premier, General Tojo. This, he says, is believed to declare that Japan will be forced to use other means to protect her existence ii the United States does not allow a speedy settlement of the Far Eastern position.
