OF ENEMY AIR RAIDERS ON TOBRUK GARRISON HILLING BACK WITH EFFECT. BAG OF PLANES DURING SEVEN MONTHS. LONDON, November 7. A special despatch from Reuter’s correspondent in Tobruk tells how the garrison have learnt to defend themselves against incessant enemy bombing. In seven months 84 enemy planes have been brought down and another 81 are counted as probably destroyed. Nearly 200 other enemy aircraft have been damaged.
