SEVENTEEN BODIES RECOVERED,

The Tokio correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain reports that the correct name of the mined Japanese ship is the Kehi Marti. One hundred and forty-three passengers and the crew are still unaccounted for. The Japanese news agency said 247 persons have been picked up, including 10 seriously injured. The rescuers have also recovered 17 bodies.
