UNION LEADERS
• INDICATED IN UNITED STATES ACCUSED OF THREATENING STRIKES. IN MOVING PICTURE INDUSTRY. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.5 a.m.) NEW YOfeK, November 7. The Federal Court found Movie Union leaders, William Bioff and George Browne, guilty of extorting 550,000 dollars from moving picture executives, under threats of calling Strikes in the industry. The jury found the pair guilty on all the counts. On the Federal indictment they are liable to thirty years in gaol.
