INDECENT ASSAULT
MAN COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE.
FOR OFFENCE COMMITTED AT PARKVALE.
Charged with having indecently assaulted a male at Parkvale on November 1, 1941, William Browning Watson, alias William Browning Watkins, aged 59 years, of Carterton, was committed to the Supreme Court, Wellington, for sentence when he appeared before Messrs E. G. Eton and L. J. Taylor J’s.P., in the Magistrate’s Court, Masterton, yesterday afternoon. Following evidence by Constables Williams and Gillies (Carterton) and the youth concerned, Watson pleaded guilty.
Bail was granted in £2OO (self) and one surety of £2OO, with the proviso that Watson reported daily to the Carterton police.
