FOR SATURDAY’S DINNER
CURRIED LOAF WITH SALADS Put lib. ham, lib. fresh pork, and 11b. lean steak through a fine mincer with 1 onion and 1 clove garlic. Add 1 tablespoon salt or a little less according to taste, 2 teaspoons curry powder, 1 tablespoon fine sage, 1 egg white and | cup top milk. Form into a roll and wrap in a cloth or cheese cloth. Place on a trivet in a -large boiler, add 2 quarts boiling water, A cup vinegar, and salt to taste. Simmer for 3 hours. Drain well and press under a heavy weight.
