VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE
VISIT OF OFFICERS TO WAIRARAPA. |
ITINERARY FOR NEXT WEEK.
Miss P. L. Jull and Mr A. A. Kirk, girls’ and boys’ vocational guidance officers of the Government Youth Centre, Wellington, will visit the District High Schools in the Wairarapa and the Wairarapa College next week. Their itinerary is as follows: — Monday, November 10: All day, Featherston D.H.S. Tuesday, November 11: Morning, Greytown D.H.S.afternoon, Carterton D.H.S.
Wednesday, November 12: All day, Wairarapa College. Thursday, November 13: Morning, Eketahuna D.H.S.; afternoon, Pahiatua D.H.S.
The officers will interview students who wish to discuss any problems relating to the planning of careers. Parents, too, will be given opportunities of meeting the vocational guidance officers. Parents who still require appointments with these officers can arrange this by communicating with the headmaster of the school concerned.
