ROAD ACCIDENT
MAN & \NOMMi INJURED SERIOUSLY. YOUNG CHILD ALSO HURT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. _ Shortly before eleven o’clock this morning a car left the road on the northern side of the Porirua overhead bridge and struck a ditch, badly injuring two people and a child., They are Mr C. G. Hook, a baker, of Paraparaumu, who has a fractured left leg fractured jaw and wounds on the right arm and chin; Mrs M. S. Arthur (Mr Hook’s mother-in-law), of the same address, fractured left arm and left leg,'internal injuries, severe scalp wound, severe wound on the right leg and shock, and Lily Hook, aged two years, head injuries. ' All three were brought to tne Wellington Hospital by the Free Ambulance.
