BY AMERICAN ATLANTIC PATROL EVIDENCE OF SUBSTANTIAL SUCCESS. PARTS OF SUBMARINES BLOWN TO SURFACE. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.10 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 4. Convincing evidence that the United States :Navy has bombed and sunk a number of German submarines since President Roosevelt’s 'shoot oh sight order is reported by officers and men returning from Atlantic patrol duties, says the “Sun’s” Washington correspondent.
