AUSTRALIAN RACING PLANS FOR BEAU VITE. MAY SPELL AFTER SPRING CAMPAIGN. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) MELBOURNE, October 29. Beau Vite, with a bandaged off foreleg, moved freely in gentle work at Caulfield today. His trainer McGrath slated that the horse knocked himself when galloping on ■ Tuesday, the trouble not being serious. Though Beau Vite has been nominated for the Christmas racing in New Zealand, the chances are that the horse will be spelled at Bacchus Marsh after the spring campaign. Whether Skipton and Vermont will start in the Melbourne Cup depends on their showing in the Derby. On Account has been scratched for the Cantala Stakes. New Zealand-bred horses in the Melbourne Cup include Beau Vite, Yours Truly and Palencia. The dams of Saul and Skiptcn are New Zealandbred. J. Fryer is represented by Skipton and El Golea.
