COSY THEATRE

“SIS HOPKINS.” At the Cosy Theatre . tonight the programme will be headed by “Sis Hopkins,” with Judy Canova, the “Scatterbrain Girl” in the funniest musical comedy filmed for a long time. The picture is a sure cure for the blues, and is one long laugh. Judy Canova will sing “That Ain’t Hay,” “Well, Well,” “If You’re in Love” and “Wait for the Wagon.” She excels herself in hei’ acting as the chief character giving a very clever interpretation. She is ably supported by Charles Butterworth, Jerry Colonna, Susan Hayward and Bob Crosby and his band. I It is certainly a picture that should not I be missed by those who appreciate a bright musical comedy containing catchy songs and tuneful music. It is very rarely that patrons have the opportunity of seeing a picture so full of good clean comedy, lilting music! and splendid singing. I
