UTILITY CLOTHING

FOR BRITISH WOMEN. LUXURY FABRICS CUT OUT. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) LONDON. October 28. Almost all women in the United Kingdom next summer will wear utility clothing. A call-up of women aged between 20 and 25 in the light clothing industry means that luxury clothes and exclusively dressed women will soon disappear. The production of wool and allocations for luxury fabrics have already been drastically cut. The first call-up will be from this section of the industry, but the plan will extend to the heavy clothing industry, involving at least 20,000 women employees.
