SHOT AT AND WOUNDED -3 IN PEIPING.
♦ ALLEGEDLY BY CHINESE GUNMAN. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.35 a.m.) PEIPING, October 28. A United States Marine, on sentry duty at the main gate of the American Embassy,- suffered a flesh wound when an unidentified Oriental, in civilian clothes, fired four pistol shots from behind. A Tokio Domei Agency report from Peiping said the assailant was a Chinese gunman, who escaped.
