TIN HARE RACING
LOCAL DOGS SUCCESSFUL AT DANNEVIRKE.
Masterton-owned dogs did particularly well at the tin hare race meeting held at Dannevirke yesterday. In all the events there were large entries. Mr J. Hanley’s The Admiral won the maiden and novice stakes in a convincing manner. Mr A. Spicer’s Democrat put up a good performance to be run-ner-up in the novice stake. Mr L. Archer won the limit stake with Karaka Jack and Mr L. Gray won the consolation stake with Desert Gold.
