GERMAN BOMBERS
TWO SHOT DOWN OFF COAST OF BRITAIN. NO OTHER ENEMY ATTEMPT. (British Official Wireless.) 1 (Received This Day, 12.20 p.m.) RUGBY, October 27. An Air Ministry and Ministry of Home Security communique states: — “This afternoon our fighters shot down two enemy bombers into the sea off the coast of England. Apart from this, there has been nothing to report during daylight today.”
