AIR FORCE RELATIONS

BUINESS BEFORE COMMITTEE MEETING.

MANY DONATIONS ACKNOWLEDGED.

At the monthly meeting of the Air Force Relations Committee, the following members were present: —Mesdames H. J. W. Lord (in the chair), J. A. Betts P. Nathan and A. Harcombe. Mrs H. Rishworth was elected to the committee.

Headquarters at Wellington reported that the committee’s tinned food was still being sent to England; also a large quantity of woollen garments. The committee packed 196 tins of food suitable for sending overseas. Twenty-six pullovers were packed, also 5 balaclavas (with holes at the ears for telephones), 6 pairs of mittens and one scarf. The committee wish to thank the following helpers and donors of tinned food for their unfailing support:—Mesdames Anderson, Austen, Braggins, J. A. Betts, T. Beetham, T. Brown, D. Buchanan, H. Lyttle, Longstaff, Martin, I. Moore, M'cLean, K. Morris, Laird Meredith, P. Nathan, J. D. O'Connor, J. Payne, Rishworth, H. Reid, Sydney Smith, Skeet, Winzenberg, G. C. Williams, T. F. Watson, Yorke, Wardell, Whitton, Misses P. Gill, E. Carey, W. Nicholls, M. Kilgour, Butement, McEachen, E. Pearce, Messrs E. Jenkins, J. Betts and A. Harcombe.

Parcels of comforts, knitted garments or tinned foods may be sent to any member of the committee or left at the offices of Messrs Dunderdale and Gray, Page’s Buildings, Perry Street, Masterton. The parcels will be packed and forwarded to Wellington on the 20th of every month.
