GERMAN PLANES
SPARE PARTS FOR TURKEY. FROM MACHINES SHOT DOWN BY R.A.F. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.20 a.m.) LONDON, October 23. Britain is shooting down enough German planes to supply Turkey with spare parts, says the Associated Press of Great Britain Ankara correspondent. The Turks are hard pressed for spares for Heinkels, and Germany, even under the terms of the most recent agreement, declined to supply them, because her own needs are pressing. Heinkel parts in Britain and elsewhere have been collected and sent to Turkey.
