BRITISH WARSHIPS
UNDER REPAIR IN U.S.A. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, Noon.) WASHINGTON, October 21. The Navy Department announced today that the following British warships were in United States ports: The auxiliary mine-layer Agamennon, the auxiliary cruiser Cathay and the corvette Candytuft. This makes a total of 35 ships for repairs under the lendlease programme.
