FUSSING & HEALTH

AMERICAN MEDICAL MAN’S ADVICE. AVOIDANCE OF LAZINESS & OVER-EATING. (By Telegraph-Press Association—Copyright) CHICAGO, October 20. Doctor Perry Goldsmith, addressing the American Academy of Opthalogy and Otolaryngology, advised less attention to new gadgets and medical stunts, specially in regard to the nose and throat. He said: “Our ancestors must have been of tough fibre. They had none of these gadgets. They didn’t fuss about themselves or their supply of vitamins, and were wise enough to know that health, happiness, and (longevity are. not necessarily obtained by tinkering with one’s inside. We are apt to think too much about our ailments, regardless of the logical cause—our own laziness of over-eating.”
