LATE RATES MAINTAINED. TOTAL CLEARANCE TODAY AT MASTERTON. The Associated Auctioneers report as follows on their Masterton stock sale today:—A small yarding of sheep came forward and was offered to a fair attendance. Prices were on a par with late rates and a total clearance was effected. A good line of fat and forward 4-th. wethers offered on account of “Manaku” Station realised 20s 6d. The following are some of the realisations:— Sheep: Fat shorn wethers, 225, 22s 2d to 22s 6d; fat shorn ewes, 12s 7d to 15s- extra heavy fat shorn ewes, 10s lOd; light fat shorn hoggets, to 18s 4d; good fat and forward shorn 4-th. wethers, to 20s 6d; shorn store 4-th. wethers, 17s 3d; small shorn 2-th. wethers, 15s; store b.f. ewes. 14s 9d. Pigs: Weaners, 18s to 20s.
