CHURCH SERVICES

At St Matthew’s Church tomorrow Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher at all the services. The Rev H. Taepa. will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. The usual services will be held at Taueru, Rangitumau and Kopuaranga.

At the Methodist Church tomorrow the morning service will be conducted by the Rev. H. S. Kings, whose subject will be “The Man With a Withered Hand.” In the evening the Rev. G. Knowles-Smith will preach. Mr Smith is an ex-president of the Primitive Methodist Conference, and was for many years the Superintendent of the Wellington Mission. The afternoon service at Mt. Bruce will be conducted by Mr C. R. Goudge. The choir will render a choral service at the Hospital at 4 p.m. The Maori Sunday School at Te Ore Ore will hold its anniversary services at 2.45 p.m. The evening service at Kuripuni will be a sacramental one, and will be conducted by the Rev. H. S. Kings. The services tomorrow at the Presbyterian Church, Masterton, and at Matahiwi will be conducted by Mr Douglas Storkey. The subject at the morning service will be “The Divine Promise,” and in the evening, “The Divine Commission.”
