CRASH INTO BUS
MOTOR CAR WRECKED FATALITY AT LEVIN. MARRIED MAN LOSES LIFE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) LEVIN, October 17. A fatal motor accident occurred at Levin yesterday afternoon, the victim being William Gorman, of Ohau, a married man. A passenger in the car named W. Benning received serious injuries and was taken to a private hospital in Levin. It appears that Mr Gorman was driving along the main road when he hit the side of one of Newman’s buses, and immediately crashed into a following bus. The car was a total wreck and Messrs Gorman and Benning were removed to hospital where the former died a short while after his admission.
