SPRING FAIR
OUTSTANDING SUCCESS. The Spring Fair held by the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Masterton Y.M.C.A., in aid of the Y.M.C.A. funds, in. the gymnasium yesterday was an outstanding success. The winners of the “rush” poster competition were Messrs B. Martel and D. Minifie. The stallholders were:—Plants, Mesdames S. N. Kilgour, D. E. Lyttle, G. Masters; cake, Mesdames H. E. Pither, C. Pickering; sweets, Mesdames Corskie, Bannister, F. Nelson, M. G. Mackay, D. K. McKenzie; jumble, Mesdames C. W. Gaze, Henderson, Pike; work, Mesdames Fly, Kerr; produce, Mesdames Cottle and Blackwood; afternoon tea, Mesdames Prescott, Taylor, Hessell and Keltie. The general secretary, Mr C. W. Gaze, was a tireless worker throughout the day.
