Marshal Petain has given the following decisions regarding the French politicians held on charges in connection with war guilt:—General Gamelin, M.M. Daladier, Reynaud, Blum and Mandel are remaining under detention at Fort Pourtalot, in the Pyrenees, pending the Riom trial. M. Lachambre is remaining in prison and M. Bourrassol will hold himself at the disposition of the court. No action is being taken against M. Cot, who is in the United States..

A London message states that the occupation authorities in Paris have arrested Professor Emile Berel, a former French Navy Minister. No reason is given.
