In an afternoon dress that is suitable for any wardrobe, Ellen Drew, the noted film actress, certainly looks attractive. The colour is a soft sun-beige. The wide bishop sleeves are banded at the wrist to blouse gracefully, while fullness is introduced in the slim skirt by unpressed pleats. The open neckline closes in a double-breasted effect vzith four gold buttons, .and the same gold is repeated in the narrow kid belt. The hat is of the same sun-beige in woven straw, with a fringed off-the-face brim and flat crown.
