NEARLY OVER
SESSION OF PARLIAMENT. THREE BILLS DEALT WITH YESTERDAY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Urgency was taken in the HcWse of Representatives yesterday for the passage of the three Bills remaining on the order paper—the Rehabilitation Bill, Statutes Amendment Bill and Finance Bill (No. 2). The second reading debate on the Rehabilitation Bill, a measure .to reestablish service men in civil life and to reconstruct war industries on a peace time basis after the Avar, occupied most of the afternoon and evening. The Bill was finally passed at 11.35 p.m. Consideration was then given to the Finance Bill (No. 2), the Minister of Finance making an explanation m moving the second reading of the measure. The Bill was read a second time without debate, put through the committee stage and passed at midnight. The House, before rising, then went on with the Statutes Amendment Bill. The Prolongation of Parliament Bill Avas passed by the Legislative Counci yesterday afternoon.
