GREYHOUND RACING

MEETING ON SATURDAY.

Nominations for the meeting to be held on Saturday closed last night and the draw will take place tonight in the secretary’s office. Good fields will be seen out in the principal events and exciting finishes should be witnessed. An up-to-date sound system will be in operation and a running commentary on all the races will be given. The cup should provide considerable interest as there is a field of fast dogs. All Cash, running for E. J. Wing, has a great chance of winning the trophy outright. Other strong contenders are The Admiral, who is having his first season on the track, and Matrix, a very fast .young dog recently acquired by Messrs McGrath and Cooke, of Wellington.
