AEROPLANE CRASH
INSTRUCTOR KILLED PUPIL SLIGHTLY INJURED. TRAGEDY NEAR STRATFORD. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. It was officially announced in Wellington last night that when a training aeroplane crashed near Stratford at approximately 3.45 p.m. yesterday, an instructor was killed and a pupil slightly injured. The instructor was: Flying Officer Jack Rua Coath, whose wife is Mrs F. S. Coath, 77 Wallace Place, New Plymouth. • The pupil, Leading Aircraftman G. F. Forbes, a son of Mr Alec Forbes, Manawake, Malala, was taken to’ Stratford Hospital., A. The cause of the accident has noT
been determined, and a court of inquiry will be held.
