BOROUGH RATES
EIGHTY-EIGHT PER CENT COLLECTED. LAST DAY OF DISCOUNT. Eighty-eight per cent of Mastertonborough rates were collected this year up to the last day on which discount was allowed, as compared with 87 per cent last year. Of the total levy of £37,486, an amount of. £33.107 was paid up to the close of business on discount day last Thursday. This sum includes £1633 allowed as discount.
