The following are the entries for the Wellington Handicap, one mile and three furlongs, to be run at Trentham: Dynasty, Beau Ciel, Amigo, Ned Cuttie, Don’t Forget, Prudent Prince, Lambourn, Wild Talk, The Monarch, Trench Law, Piastre, Night Pilot, Little Robin, Rakanui, Wardress, Dictate, Centrepoise,' The Raker, Du Maurier, Happy Ending, Gladynev, Blue Border, Airline, Aurora’s Stdr, Arachne.

Churchill Steeplechase. The entries for the Churchill Steeplechase, three miles, at the Wellington meeting are: Esperance Bay, Fat Boy, Slayer, Brandon Hall, General Ruse, Aussie Ra, Clansman, Dauber, Beverley, Pertinax, Foxiana, The Dozer, Dozie Boy, Hyderabad, Aintree, King Rey, Erination, Summons, Son and Heir, Chat, Astral Flame, Recollection, Rival, Bridegroom, Fundy Bay, Master Dingle, Night Scout, 'Wharemanea, Conflagration, Gay Boa, Smiling Thru.

Pearce Handicap. Nominations have been received as follows for the Pearce Handicap, one mile, at the Wellington Club’s meeting: Ringcraft, Globe Trotter, Not Out, Proclamation, Last Acre, Classform, Rakahanga, Amigo, Minority, Siglow, Enrich, Boden Park, Don’t Forget, Yogi, Wild Talk, Shikari, Foreign Coin, Kotua, Kraal, Meamea, Circular Note, Kentucky, Trench Law, Duncannon, Par Avion, Titter, Haughty Winner, Flying Spy, Glaciate, Dictate, Centrepoise, Sceptre, Augment, White Rajah, Blue Border, Airline, Surveyor-Gen-eral, Boswell, Hearth, Boloyna, Foxola. Two Divisions at Auckland. As it is to be run in two divisions, the Gordon Handicap will be the first race on the opening clay of the Auckland Racing Club’s meeting. Following it the order of races will be: — Trial Hurdles, Shorts Handicap, Great Northern Guineas, Mitchelson Cup, Hunters’ Steeplechase, Welcome Stakes and Flying Handicap. Divisions in the Gordon Handicap are:—

Second division: Town Survey, Kaimanawa, Kadina, Empire Rose, Elise, Neenah, Silver Clarion, Foxlore, Nordic Song, Bronze Crest, Sir Reynard, Balashiel, Royce, Lapidarian, Purple Vermeer, June Tide, Beaucoup, Camilla, Bronze Royal, White Chief.

Excellent Acceptances. One hundred and two acceptances have been received for the eight events at Opaki on Thursday. There are 20 horses in the Longbush Handicap, 18 in the Maiden, 15 in the Lansdowne Handicap, 11 in the Solway Handicap and the Riversdale Handicap, 10 in the Taueru Handicap, 9 in the Wangaehu Handicap and 8 in the Masterton Handicap.
