NO DECISION YET
ON THE ELECTION QUESTION MEETINGS OF BOTH PARTIES. LABOUR CAUCUS MAY BE CONTINUED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day No decision on the general election issue was apparent today. Immediately following caucuses of both the Government and the Opposition parties, the leaders of both sides said they had nothing to report. The Government caucus lasted considerably longer than that of the Opposition, and when it adjourned, shortly after 1 p.m., the Prime Minister, Mr P. Fraser, said the caucus had discussed the election question and the war situation, but no decision had been. arrived at. The caucus might possibly meet again today. Mr S. G. Holland, after the Opposition caucus, said there was nothing to report.
