. Mrs G. Williams, Khandallah, has been spending a short holiday with Mrs T. C. Moore, Makuri.

Mrs R. Stratford, Waipukurau, has returned home from a visit to Makuri. Mr and Mrs C. Fanning, of Makuri, have.taken up their residence in Palmerston North.

The death occurred recently of Mrs H. A. Watt, of Palmerston North. Mrs Watt had lived in Ashhurst for 10 years till last November, when she and her husband came to live in Palmerston North. She was born in Beaconsfield, Tasmania, 63 years ago, and was married to Mr Watt in 1898.
