ALLEGED BV LINDBERGH. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright ! WASHINGTON, October 4. Speaking at Fort Wayne, Indiana, at an American First rally, Mr C. A. Lindbergh alleged that President Roosevelt was moving toward suspension of the 1942 national election. He said that “one man” Government had already plunged the nation into undeclared war. Saying he had been subjected to a smear campaign, Lindbergh declared: “My only motive is the welfare of my country and my civilisation. This is not the life I enjoy. Political life is not my ambition.”
