Temperatures: Absolute shade maximum, 70.2 degrees on 22nd (64.6); absolute shade minimum, 28.7 degrees on 11th (29.4). Thus the range was 41.5 (35.2). Mean temperature for the month, 49.4 (50). Absolute grass minimum, 17.3 on 11th (21.2); average grass minimum, 28.1 (32.9); average at one foot underground, 48.1 (50.1). Severest frost, 13.1 on night of 10th (9.2). Days of frost (grass minimum 30.4 degrees Fahr, or lower), 21 (14); of shade temperature below 32 degrees Fahr., 5 (2); of gale, 1 (2). Total rainfall, 2.06 inches on 13 days (4.08); greatest fall, 46 points on 6th and 26th (153). Total sunshine, 202 hours (167.2); daily average, 6.7; sunniest day, 7th, 11.2 hours (11.5); wind run, 2319 miles (2079); average, 77.3.
