INTER-CLUB MATCHES. MASTERTON VERSUS RIVERSIDE.

In an inter-club match between the Masterton and Riverside ladies’ clubs played at Riverside the results were as follow, Riverside players being mentioned first in each case: —Mrs Clarke beat Mrs Holdgate, 3 and 2; Mrs Palamontain beat Mrs Candy, 2 and 1; Mrs Jones lost to Mrs Forsyth, 4 and 3; Mrs Naan beat Miss Falloon, 6 and 4; Mrs Brown beat Miss Carrick, 2 up; Miss Norman squared with Miss Innes; Mrs Connell beat Mrs Whyte, 2 and 1; Mrs Gilliland lost to Mrs Hancox, 5 and 4; Mrs Hayne beat Miss Rishworth, 4 and 3; Mrs Blatchford lost to Mrs Bell, 4 and 3; Mrs Cross beat Mrs Clarkson, 9 and 8. Totals: Riverside, 7 games; Masterton, 3 games; squared, 1 game.
