Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:—Barograph, 30.02; shade temperature, maximum, 59.4; minimum, 44.3; terrestrial, 43.5; sunshine, 20 minutes; rain, 18 points. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 33 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. — I PHASES OF THE MOON. OCTOBER. Day. Hr.m.
