CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE
FEWER ARRESTS IN INDIA. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.0 a.m.) RUGBY, October 2. The number of persons undergoing imprisonment in connection with the civil disobedience campaign in India I has steadily fallen since May, and stood at 9117 on August 1, said the Secretary for India (Mr Amery), in a reply to a question in the House of Commons.
