Mrs Matheson, of Carterton, is visiting Palmerston North. Miss M. Barrer has returned to Wellington from a visit to Masterton. Miss Maxine McLaren, Rangitumau, has returned from a visit to Wellington. Mrs H. W. Baty, formerly of Masterton, who has been at Taupo for the last few months, left Wellington for the South Island today. The death has occurred at her residence, Cameron Road, Napier, of Mrs Kathleen Margaret Peters, aged 68 years. Born in the United States of America, Mrs Peters came to New Zealand at an early age, living in Dunedin, and removing later to Napier, where she met and married Mr Percy Williams Peters, a well-known draper. She led an active married life, travelling in many parts, of the world.
