CHURCH SERVICES
Services will be conducted at the Baptist Church of Christ tomorrow. At 11 a.m. the subject will be “Christian Stewardship” and at 7 p.m. “Why Some People Don't go to Church.” The Rev. L. R. Usmar will preach at both services. Communion will be held after the evening meeting. Major and Mrs Ransom will conduct the services at the Salvation Army Earracks tomorrow.
The services tomorrow at the Masterton Presbyterian Church, and at Kaituna will be conducted by the Very Rev G. H. McNeur. The Girl Guides will parade at the morning service at Knox Church.
The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 8 a.m., at Upper Plain at 9 a.m. and at Kuripuni at 10 a.m. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew's Church, and at 7 p.m the Bishop of Wellington will conduct the annual ‘ confirmation service. The monthly service at the Public Hospital will be at 3 p.m. At the Methodist, Church tomorrow the services will be conducted b.y Rev. H. S. King. In the morning there will be a spring flower service, when gifts of flowers will be received and forwarded to the sick. The subject of the sermon will be “The Highest Beauty. ’ In the evening the subject will be “Gates of Pearl, the Christian Answer to the Problem of Suffering.” Mr. Eric Steer will’conduct the evening service at Kuripuni.
