On the eve of the anniversary of Japan’s signing of the Tripartite Pact, Mr Ito, president of the Japanese Information Board, said co-operation with the Axis Powers remained an integral part of Japanese foreign policy. The Japanese Press echoes the official viewpoint and emphasises Japan’s loyalty to her Axis partners. The Vichy Government has protested to the Japanese against violations of French sovereignty in Indo-China.
