NIGHT RAIDS

ON ENEMY PORTS IN LIBYA MADE BY BRITISH HEAVY BOMBERS. FIRES STARTED AT BARDIA BY FLEET AIR ARM. LONDON, September 25. A Cairo comtnunique reports more night raids on Tripoli and Benghazi by heavy bombers of the R.A.F. Much damage was caused, and at Benghazi a ship was hit by a bomb. Fires were started at Bardia by the Fleet Air Arm. Land patrols at Tobruk continue, and there is also patrol activity in the frontier area. It is stated in London that there is no real change in the situation in North Africa, and that sandstorms still sweep the Western Desert.
