COLLEGE BOARD

BUSINESS AT MONTHLY ' MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Wairarapa College Board of Governors was held in Masterton last night. The chairman, Mr W. R. Nicol, presided. There were also present Mrs J. L. Hair, Messrs A. Owen Jones, L. T. Daniell, F. C. Daniell, F. M. Whyte, J. D. O’Connor, T. Hanley and the principal, Mi’ G. G. Hancox. The principal reported as follows:— The Parents’. Association has arranged to hold an old-time dance in the Assembly Hall on Saturday night and a Paddy’s Market on the afternoon of November 1. Mr G. C. Martin, M.Sc., who had been on the temporary staff since the beginning of the year, left on September 18 to serve overseas. Mrs S. Lamb commenced duty as physical culture mistress on September 15.
