BY SIR CYRIL & LADY NEWALL. In a visit to Masterton Hospital yesterday afternoon, following the civic reception, the Governor-General, Sir Cyril Newall and Lady Newall made a general inspection of the institution and talked with many of the patients including those in the T.B. ward. Members of the nursing staff and V.A.D.’s formed a guard of honour. On their arrival, their Excellencies were met by Mi* H. H. Mawley, chairman of the Wairarapa Hospital Board, Dr. T. L. Parr, medical superintendent, and Miss H. D. Grant, matron. Afternoon tea was served by the nurses. Lady Newall gave some of the flowers she had received to the patients.
