ARGENTINE ACTION
OCCUPATION OF AIRPORTS NO REQUEST FOR HELP. RECEIVED BY UNITED STATES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.25 p.m.) WASHINGTON, September 24. Replying to questions as to whether the Argentine had occupied all military airports as a precaution against an uprising against the Government, Mr Cordell Hull (Secretary of State) said Argentina had not made any request to the United States pursuant to the agreement under which all the American nations pledged their co-op-eration in combating subversive activities in any American country.
