SUCCESSFUL ATTACK
ON RUMANIAN AUXILIARY CRUISER
MADE BY SOVIET SUBMARINE IN BLACK SEA. ENEMY SHIP SEVERELY DAMAGED. LONDON, September 23. An Istanbul message states that a Rumanian steamer, which had been converted into an auxiliary cruiser, has been torpedoed and severely damaged by a Russian submarine in the Black Sea. The ship is now in dry dock at Constanta.
