GOOD PRICES
MASTERTON STOCK SALE.
KEEN DEMAND FOR FATS. A feature of the Masterton stock sale today was the large yarding of fat sheep, for which competition was keen from a representative bench of buyers. Prices showed a good firm tone in the early stages of the sale. Early prices were: — Sheep: Fats, w. wethers, 21s 6d; shorn w. wethers, 22s 9d, 235; shorn b.f’s., .19s 4d; shorn b.f. ewes, 20s; w. ewes, IBs to 19s. Pigs: Weaners, 20s.
