87TH BIRTHDAY
MRS J. WHITEMAN, SENR. On Friday last, to celebrate the 87th birthday of Mrs J. Whiteman Senr., Mr and Mrs F. Groube entertained about forty relatives and friends at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Masterton. The tables were artistically decorated in rainbow colours. Mrs Whiteman cut and served the beautiful birthday cake. Her health and happiness and also that of Mr and Mrs Groube, wore drunk with musical honours. The afternoon was greatly enjoyed by all present.
