REPLY TO TOBRUK MESSAGE.

CONFIDENCE IN ULTIMATE VICTORY. (Received This Day. 11.50 a.m.) MOSCOW, September 22. Replying to the Tobruk message, the commander at Odessa said: “We read your message with intense satisfaction. The Russian people will continue to hang on firmly and resolutely and also to smite the German bandits until they are wiped out. As long as our hearts beat we shall fight for the complete destruction of Hitler's hordes. Under the crushing blows of the Red Army, aided by the peoples of the entire world, Hitlerism will be destroyed. Be staunch and steadfast and victory will be ours.”
