ISLE OF MAN
GENEROUS GIFT TO NATIONAL EXCHEQUER. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.20 a.m.) RUGBY, September 22. The Government of the Isle of Man has presented £500,000 to the British Exchequer, as a contribution toward the war and as a further expression of the island’s loyally, as an integral part of the British Empire.
