GOLF CLUB LADIES’ STABLEFORD BOGEY. (“Times-Age” Special.) The best cards handed in by lady members in a Stableford bogey were: —Miss Harvey, 22, 11, 33; Mrs Charles, 10, 16, 26; Miss Martin, 7, 18, 25; Miss Blundell, 7, 18, 25. Personal. On Friday evening, a ■ large number of members of the Martinborough Bowling Club foregathered to bid farewell to Mr G. Williamson, the popular secretary. Mr W. J. Knell, president, was in the chair. The chairman said Mr Williamson was leaving next day to reside in Wellington. It was in a great measure due to Mr Williamson that the club was in its present sound financial position. Messrs S. Boyd, A. O. Pike, and C. W. Skill (ex-presi-dents), and many of. the members spoke in a similar strain. Mr Knell, on behalf of members, presented Mr Williamson with a bowler’s bag. Mr Williamson replied in suitable terms.
